OUR STORY

My passion for woodworking started in high school, when my sister-in-law asked me to make a wine rack. Armed with my dad’s rusty tooth saw I built my first piece in my parents’ garage. From that moment on, I knew it was a life-long skill I wanted to improve. Over the past 12 years I have refined my skills. From building a trap door stage in college, to random jigs to help my father build Fly Fishing poles, to meeting fellow craftsmen through my travels in the Navy.

Bringing Link into the executive team in 2013, he had big plans to launch Paws and Saws from the very beginning. We have attempted several small garage shops, but mainly collected tools on our journey. Now we finally have settled on our forever home location in Columbus, OH. Starting a modest basement wood shop has come with its difficulties, but we look forward to continuing the journey from here, crafting one-of-a-kind pieces of art that are always Link approved.
